Visitor Information
The Hall is open on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
Guided Tours around the Hall begin at 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm (approx 45 mins per tour). Party tours can be arranged at other times by appointment only.
The gardens are open on Tuesday and Thursday from 2pm – 4.30pm where visitors can wander around ‘garden rooms’ filled with clipped box, lily ponds, Romanesque loggia, warm brick walls, unusual doors, secret passageways, beautiful topiary work and formal, herb and walled gardens.
Don’t miss out the stunning Grade I listed Carolean stables built in 1654 (open from 2pm – 4.30pm) with its richly carved stalls and original Tuscan columns and strap work and also the Mainwaring Chapels in the parish church of St. Laurence which is open from 2pm – 4pm both within the grounds of the Hall.
Admission Fee for Peover Hall, Carolean Stables and Gardens: Adult £6
Admission Fee for Stables and Gardens only: Adult £4 (accompanied children under 16yrs free of charge)
The Estate Tea Rooms are open on tour days between 2.30pm and 4.30 pm.
